Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30pm, the youth engage in smaller group Bible study as we learn how to deepen our faith and live together as the body of Christ. We start off with pizza as we share our high's and low's together. This is an opportunity for the youth to hear what is going on in their friends lives that week. We join in celebrations together and we pray for each other. Then we spend some time studying together. This semester we will be using a curriculum called Modern Parables: Living in the Kingdom of God. It's a study that uses short, dramatic, modern day stories to recreate in the viewer the same responses that the original audiences of Jesus' parables might have experienced. The films will help the youth to grasp the parables at a gut level and then we are able to engage the Bible together in powerful and compelling new ways.
